Indore Railway Station

While Alirajpur has a good connectivity via railways the nearest railway station to reach the town is Dahod (Gujarat) railway station at a distance of 75 km. a new railway route is under process through Dahod to Alirajpur which will be starts soon.

Barwani has Western Railway Reservation Counter (Ratlam Mandal) at Ambedker Park on Rajghat Road. The nearest railway station is situated at Indore, which is one of the major commercial railway station of western railway. Another nearer railway station is Khandwa, which is 180 km from Barwani. Khandwa is situated on Central Railway and it is connected with Barwani via State highway Number 26.

It falls on Mumbai-Delhi & Mumbai-Allahabad, central rail route. There are many super-fast, express trains for this destination. Burhanpur has direct train connectivity with important tourist destinations and cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Agra, Varanasi, Gwalior, Katni, Jabalpur, Pipariya, Jhansi, Bhopal.

Mandu is well connected from Indore (95 km) and Dhar (35 km). From Indore there are two direct bus to Mandu, the first from Gangwal Bus Stand (08:00) and second from Sarawate Bus Stand (14:00). The journey takes 3 hours. Alternatively one can make a break journey at Dhar. There are regular bus service from Indore to Dhar and from Dhar to mandu.

Jhabua does not have an train station. Nearest option is Meghnagar 15k.m. apart.

Khandwa Junction is situated on Mumbai-Delhi rout via Bhusawal, Itarsi. From Bhopal Khandwa is at 270 KM distance. From Bhopal Khandwa is 270 kilometers away. Distance from Mumbai to Khandwa by rail is about 600 km . Distance from New Delhi to Khandwa is about one thousand km away.

There are several routes to reach Alirajpur by road. There are several direct bus services from Indore (200 km) to Alirapur, you can also reach Alirajpur by road through taxi. Alirajpur district is surrounded by Dhar and Badwani districts in the east, Gujarat in the west, Jhabua district in the north and Maharashtra state in the south, all these places can be reached by road.

Barwani is fairly well connected to other parts of Madhya Pradesh and India with national and state highways. The city is connected to the Agra-Bombay NH-03 by Khandwa-Baroda SH-26 at the distance of 45 KM at Julwaniya. There are bus services to and from all major and minor cities near Barwani. The major cities are Indore, Khandwa, Ujjain, Dewas, Dhar, Ratlam, Khargone, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Baroda.

Being close to Maharashtra state border,there is very good road accessibility for Bhusawal, Jalgaon, Aurangabad etc. Road condition is very well from Indore too, many road transporter ply their buses from Indore to Burhanpur. Distance between Burhanpur and Bhopal Via Indore is 367 km and Via Munda is 326 km.

You can rent a car in Indore. The best route from Indore is as follows: Indore – Betma – Ghatabillod – Dhar – Mandu. The distance is approximately 95 km and the roads are in good condition.

You can easily get regular buses to Jhabua from other major cities of the country.

Khandwa is connected to Gujrat and Maharastra State by Barodra-Burhanpur (SH-26). Indore is connected through Indore-Edlabad road(SH 27). Bhopal to Khandwa is approximate;y 260 KM via Punasa. Via Hoshangabad distance from Bhopal to khandwa is 280 KM approximately.

Khargone is 150 KM from Indore, 90 KM from Barwani, 70 KM from Sendhwa, 65 KM from Dhamnod, 130 KM from Dhar, 90 KM from Khandwa, 130 KM from Burhanpur and 150 KM from Bhusawal.
